I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, but I finally got around to making a stencil of little people to use at work.

Download OmniGraffle People Stencil

To Install: Copy the stencil file into /Users/username/Library/Application Support/OmniGraffle/Stencils/

Thanks, these will be really handy. If you update them, maybe you can add female executives as well. Little pearls and A-line skirts?

Thanks Jackson, I will use this to create a workflow diagram of Decapodians invading my website. Sweet!

Thanks so much. This got me out of a bind…

    I’m having problems downloading. Help!

Lena: Can you be more specific? Is the file corrupt when you download it? Or is it not possible to download the file?

Depending on your browser, the best way to download the stencil may be to right-click on the link to the file and click on “Save Link As…” or “Download Linked File…”.

I agree with Ruby, female execs would make this set complete! Nice job.

Thanks tons! I have been using for a stencil to depict meetings in my Scrum diagrams – this is one of the best I found.

Ha! Just realized there are your little peoples that I keep seeing in other designers’ work. Nice work, Jackson! Guess I need to start using them, too, since they look better than my little peoples. (BTW, we met in the sketchboards and prototyping workshop held at IA Summit 09.) Cheers!

How about the copyright of this fantastic stencil? I want to use it to create a logo, which would be placed on a website, documents, slides, etc. Can I use it for free?

  • 12 jackson // Oct 30, 2010 at 3:52 pm

Michael, good question. I’ve never required any attribution or payment for using the stencil, so I guess it’s public domain. Feel free to use it in your logo project.
