All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)

Goofy acting, too long, bad DVD transfer, yet still poignant (if less so that it probably once was). I read somewhere that this is a movie best left to film historians. There are war movies that tell the same tale in a manner much more interesting and engaging to modern audiences.

Erica and I enjoyed my first my night of freedom (my last assignment for the semester was turned in at 8am Tuesday) by making pan-roasted chicken and mashed potatoes, watching Gilmore Girls, and then watching Matrix Revolutions (finally).
